sector, teaching English to young people from 14 upwards and

adults and as a manager. I am also qualified as a basic literacy

tutor and have experience working with adults to develop their

basic literacy skills or equip them for returning to work. I have

taught within a range of settings, including designing and delivering bespoke literacy programmes in the workplace. I have also taught and provided support to young people and adults who speak English as a second language.

I have more than 20 years’ experience working with young people and adults with disabilities and specific learning difficulties, providing assessments and tuition to all age ranges.  I have the Post Graduate Diploma in Dyslexia and Assessor Practicing Certificate (APC) from the Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS)

I enjoy training and have designed and delivered training programmes for schools, colleges, universities and employers and have been involved in a range of interim management and consultancy projects across the UK.
