Introduction

These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and guidelines for the use of our courses and services offered through www.dyslexiaherts.co.uk, which includes all content, functionality, and services offered

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services, or if under 18, have obtained parental or guardian consent. You are responsible for ensuring that the details you provide us are accurate and complete and for keeping your login information confidential.

Responsibility

When you complete our course application form, are accepted on the course and are enrolled you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms.

Intellectual Property Rights

The content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, course materials, and any software used on the site, is the property of Dyslexia Herts or its suppliers and is protected by copyright and other laws that protect intellectual property and digital content.

Product Sales and Pricing

Prices for products are subject to change without notice.

Payment and Refunds Policy

Courses:

Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit is paid to secure a place on our courses
  • Payments can then be paid in full at the start of the course or in 3 termly instalments via accepted payment methods. Access to courses will be granted when the deposit and payment in full has been paid or deposit, payment for Term 1 and signed agreement to pay all 3 instalments is made.

We accept various forms of payment, which may include Visa or MasterCard or bank transfer. Ensure your payment method is valid and has sufficient funds or credit available to complete the transaction.

Refunds

  • We offer a 14-day refund policy for courses, provided the course has not been accessed or completed.
  • To initiate a refund, please contact our customer service team at enquiries@dyslexiaherts.co.uk with your reason for the refund request.
  • Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 14 days of the confirmed request.
  • Courses that are accessed substantially (one full term or more) or completed are not eligible for a refund.

Assessments:

Payment

A deposit is required to secure the booking; the remainder must be paid before the appointment. Payments can be made in up to 3 instalments. – We reserve the right to retain the deposit if you ask to cancel or reschedule within 3 working days (72 hours Mon-Fri) of the assessment. – Our privacy policy can be viewed on our website at http://www.dyslexiaherts.co.uk/privacy-policy

Cancellation

We reserve the right to retain the deposit amount if you fail to show for your appointment or if you ask to cancel or reschedule your appointment within 3 working days (72 hours Mon-Fri) of the assessment. If you have any questions, please email us at enquiries@dyslexiaherts.co.uk

 

User Conduct

You agree not to use our Virtual Learning Environment or its content:

  • For any unlawful purpose.
  • To solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts.
  • To violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances.

Limitation of Liability

Dyslexia Herts will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind arising from your use of the VLE or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the website, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the website or any content posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the VLE, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dyslexia Herts, its principals, officers, directors, representatives, employees, contractors, licensors, licensees, suppliers, and agents, from and against any claims, losses, damages, obligations, costs, actions or demands.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the United Kingdom and any disputes will be adjudicated exclusively in the courts of the United Kingdom.
